Add USB direct interface, 128 MB (upgradeable to 384 MB) memory and high speed-2 USB. 1 Ethernet 10/100Base-TX-interface and some useful features like analysis to USB, SMB, FTP, e-mail, network and a set of special functions of copies and a long useful life (65,000 pages per month). As only the second on the list you ask? Price. But if this allows one below $700, it's a great thing
